Tester Parade - Cosmic Cactus Quilt

It’s been a pleasure to work with the Cosmic Cactus quilt pattern testers. They have provided feedback and suggestions that have enabled me to refine my pattern and make it better. It’s been fun to see how each one has brought the design to life with their choice of fabrics and colour schemes that I would not necessarily have considered. I hope these amazing quilts inspire you to create your own unique version. Thank you to all my testers for helping me!

Don’t forget to check them out on Instagram and give them some love!

SCRAPPY QUILTS

Sara @stitchlabquilting has made this wonderful scrappy (option 2 - uses fat quarters) baby size quilt and it looks amazing! This scrappy option allows you to dive into your stash of fat quarters. There are a mix of low volume and solids for the background, including the pink tones makes this a fun quilt. The centre fussy cut square with the bunny is super cute too.

Lou Lou & Betty is a culmination of my love of quilting, designing and sharing my quilting knowledge. From an early age I’ve had a love of craft and one early memory is spending my school holidays learning how to sew on my Mum’s sewing machine. After a number of years moving around on military postings, I’ve finally settled in the beautiful beachside city of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia.

I design modern quilt patterns that are thoughtfully written. In addition, tutorials are available on our website that allow even a beginner to complete their first quilt project. Discover how you can make a quilt with a basic sewing machine and quilting tools, so you can fall in love with this craft. With a growing library of resources, PDF patterns, quilt fabric kits and curated fabric bundles, take a look at what Lou Lou & Betty has to offer.
