You may sell quilts made using our patterns on a small independent scale. Please give credit for the quilt pattern to Lou Lou & Betty.

• PDF Digital downloads are NOT subject to US import tariffs.

• Physical items (ie. fabric yardage, kits, bundles etc): The US import tariffs are paid up front, and the cost is included in the shipping total at checkout. This ensures a smoother delivery process for you with no surprise fees at the time of delivery. The amount of tariff you will pay depends on the country of origin.

All patterns are currently available in PDF format on website shop. All PDF and print patterns; fabric kits, yardage and bundles are available on Etsy.

We do sell fabric by the yard, as well as precut fabric bundles and quilt kits.

All fabric yardage is custom cut and multiple quantities will be cut into a CONTINUOUS piece. Each listing will allow you to elect your fabric to be cut as follows:
• Fat Quarter*
• 0.25m x 110cm (WOF)
For example if you would like one metre select 'Quantity: 4' and 'Fabric Length: 0.25m' and you will receive a 1 metre cut.

*Please note: Australian fat quarters measure 50cm x 55cm (approx. 20 inch x 22 inches).

We do offer our quilt samples for purchase. Check our handmade quilt listings to see whats currently available. Our selection changes regularly so check back to see whats new!

We do not offer custom quilts at this time.

Machine washing Instructions: In cold water, use a gentle cycle with a mild detergent (such as wool wash). When washing for the first time, add Colour Catches (available at the supermarket) to stop any fabric dye bleeding. Tumble dry on low heat or lay quilt flat to air dry.

Until 2024, I used my trusty Janome My Excel 18W which has served me well for 25 years and many moves! I’ve recently upgraded to a Janome Memory Craft 9450 QCP which has more space for quilting and has many features to make sewing easier.

Cross Your T’s pillow is a great FREE first pattern and is simple and easy for first time quilters. Urban Crossways pillow is another great beginner quilting pattern. Cosmic Cactus quilt is designed as a skill builder pattern that allows a beginner quilter to learn three essential quilt piecing methods. We list the fabrics used for our cover quilts in our both PDF and printed patterns. Our patterns usually include up to four other colour palettes with the fabrics listed too. On our blog, our feature makes include fabrics used. If you can’t decide on fabrics, we also offer some curated fabric kits.
